What Happens the Moment After You Die?
Every day over 200,000 people
will take their final breath,
and slip into eternity.
Though their lives may never made headlines,
the reality of death happens every day.
"What happens the moment after you die?"
When you die,
loved ones gather together around your casket
to say goodbye to one they held dear.
Tears of loss, fall in recollection
of memories shared.
How quickly time had slipped...
the brevity of life.
"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was
and the Spirit shall return unto God who gave it."
(Ecclesiastes 12:7)
The moment after you die,
your soul temporary departs from your body.
You will be either
in the presence of the Lord
rejoicing with His angels,
or you will be in torment;
eternally seperated from God.
Those who put their faith in Christ
will be in the presence of God,
surrounded with loved ones and friends
that they have known on this earth.
Unbelievers will be engulfed in darkness,
fully aware of their state.
Images of their life on this earth
will be played back in the their memory.
It torments their soul
of opportunities they lost,
when they think back to their family and friends.
Unless prearrangements have been made,
your loved ones will plan your funeral.
They will decide on a casket,
and take care of the details
in write up of your obituary.
Meanwhile,
your body remains silent,
obilvious to the confusion.
Although you are unable to communicate with them,
your soul will be more alive than it has ever been.
The preacher will be called,as
relatives come to be with your family.
Pallbearers carry your lifeless body
to its final resting place.
Words of comfort are offered
as they lower your body into the ground.
Dust to dust you shall return,
while your body awaits the Resurrection.
Mourners offer their condolences,
by placing roses or carnations
on the newly tilled ground.
They embrace one another
turning away in their grief,
holding onto the precious memories
of their departed loved one.
Although the unbeliver's body remains resting ...
Who can fathom the depths the hell he is experiencing?
His spirit screams as Hell from beneath is moved
to meet him at his coming.
Unprepared is he to meet God.
Though he cries in his torment
his prayer has no value whatsoever,
for a great gulf is fixed between Heaven and Hell.
Hopelessly, he stares at the awfulness of his state.
The beautiful words spoken in his eulogy
bare no resembelance to the reality that he now face.
If only his loved ones can see him now,
it's horror beyond all human imagination.
A moment after you die
you will see with clarity
that the decision you made
will be honored throughout eternity.
Though the unbeliever's body lay resting in the casket,
their spirit screams out to their loved ones
to avoid this place.
In torment, he awaits the final judgment,
where his body and soul,
will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
The unbelievers death is great loss.
The flame of hope forever extinguished
of ever seeing their loved ones again.
They are left alone in their misery.
Alone in their memories.
The weight of their guilt indescribable.
Who can measure the depth of their agony?
On the contrary, precious to God
is the death of His saints.
Though he walks through the valley of the shadow of death,
he will fear no evil,
for his confidence is in the Lord.
Though fear may lurk from every side,
he is not afraid.
His hand is in the hand of his Loving Shepherd
who will take him safely Home to the other side.
The believer's death is great gain.
Escorted by the angels
into the presence of God,
they are now comforted.
Their trials and suffering are past.
Though their presence will be dearly missed,
yet they have hope,
knowing that they'll be reunited in Glory,
with their loved ones in Christ.
Those who put their faith in Christ,
death is but a doorway
that opens into Eternal Life.
What happens the moment after you die,
are you prepared to meet God?
Dear Soul,
Many people don't like to think about death.
They would rather live in denial,
than to believe that it will ever happen to them.
The Scriptures says,
"It is appointed once to die,
then after that the judgement."
Death is an appointment that we all must keep
unless the Lord comes during our lifetime.
Soul,
"Are you prepared to Meet God?"
Are you assured of a place in Heaven?
Many feel they will go to Heaven
by trusting in their own works.
But the scriptures says,
Unless you repent of your sins
you cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
Of the 200,000 souls that will die today,
a vast majority will die without Christ.
They will descend into Hell
one by one...
It's statistics should break our hearts,
as we reach out to our family and friends.
Jesus said that only few will find their way to Heaven
when he stated,
"Small is the gate and narrow the road that leads
to life, and only few will find it." ( Matthew 7:14)
Will you be one of the few,my friend
or will you be among the vast majority
that will slide into Hell?
I urge you to settle this issue now,
for there's no guarantee of tomorrow.
One day we will stand in God's presence
to give an account of our lives to Him.
Though forgiven,
my heart trembles at His Holiness...
knowing God sees sin for what it is.
Precious friend,
We all have messed up big time,
in one area of our life or another.
If you were among the 200,000 who will die today,
will you go to Heaven?
Tonight, there is a great prayer meeting in Hell.
Souls crying out for their lost brothers and sisters,
to send someone to tell their families,
so they won't come to this place of torment.( Luke 16:27)
I speak on behalf of those who died without Christ.
I plead with you to hear the tears in their voice.
There's more concern about your soul in Hell,
than anywhere else tonight.
Oh, if only we could hear those beneath our feet,
it would move our hearts to warn others
of the reality of Hell.
How different their decision would have been
if someone would have told them,
as I tell you tonight, my friend.
There is a day of Judgement coming
where we will stand before God, transparant.
He will not compare our life
with the lives of others,
but rather against His Holy perfection.
Are your sins under the blood?
Search your heart, dear soul.
Are there particuliar sins that you know of
that need to be dealt with,
Sins that you try to hide?
Take a moment, and confess them to God.
Lay across your bed,
let the tears flow as you admit them one by one.
A broken and contrite heart,
O God, will not despise. (Psalm 51:17)
He will forgive you tonight.
No matter where you've been.
Admit to Him that you are a sinner,
in need of God's grace.
There is an eternal destiny for every soul,
and that is determined by the choice you make
here on this earth,
perhaps the choice you'll make here tonight.
Right now, wherever you are,
you can bow your head,
and commit your life to Christ.
You can begin a relationship with Him
by praying a prayer such as the following:
"Oh God, I am sinner. I am sorry for my sins.
Please forgive me.
I want to turn from my sin.
I receive Jesus Christ as my Savior;
I confess Him as my Lord.
From now on, I want to follow Him.
In Jesus' name, Amen."
