Will We Know Each Other In Heaven?

Who of us haven't wept at the graveside of our loved ones

and mourned their loss with so many questions unanswered?

Will we know our loved ones in Heaven?

Will we see their face again?

Death is sorrowful with its seperation.

It's hard for those you leave behind.

Those who love much often grieve deeply,

feeling its heartache of their vacant place.

Yet, those who fall asleep in Jesus we sorrow,

but not as those who have no hope.

With intense longing, we desire to be with them.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Although now we may grieve the loss of cherished relationships,

we'll have eternity to catch up with those in the Lord.

Our parting is but for a moment in the timeless span of Eternity.

Our longing makes Heaven all the more to be hoped for!

Before you know it, you will join your loved ones in Heaven,

they will be anxiously waiting for you.

Their familiar voice will call out your name,

so shall we ever be together with the Lord.

What about your loved ones who may have died without Jesus?

Will you see their face again?

Who knows that they haven't trusted Jesus at the last moment,

as did the thief on the cross.

We may never know this side of Heaven.

***

There are times when we may be so overcome by grief

that we are unable to pray.

When our heart is grieved and words seem inadequate,

the Lord knows the longings of our hearts

that we are unable to articulate.

"Likewise the Spirit helpeth our infirmities:

for we do not know not what we shall pray...

but the Spirit Himself  makes intercession for us

with groanings which cannot be uttered.

...according to the will of God."

    ~ Romans 8:26-27

In heaven you will weep no more,

for all causes of grief and sorrow will be gone forever.

The same hand that formed the mountains, the oceans and the sea,

shall cup your face in His hands

and with tenderness He shall wipe away your tears.

Tonight, if you would like to receive the gift of Eternal Life,

first you must believe in the Lord.

Ask to have your sins forgiven

and place your trust in Him.

There's only one way to Heaven and that's through the Lord Jesus.

That's God's wonderful plan of Salvation!

You can begin a personal relationship with Him

by praying a prayer such as the following:

"O God, I am a sinner.

I've been a sinner all of my life,

Forgive me, Lord.

I want to turn from my sin.

I receive Jesus Christ as my Savior;

I confess Him as my Lord.

From now on, I want to follow Him.

In Jesus' name, Amen."

If you have received the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior

after reading this invitation, please let us know.

We would love to hear from you. Your first name is sufficient.

We'll leave the light on for you...

Welcome to the family of God!

We are excited about your decision to accept Christ as your Savior,

and would like to encourage you to find a local church that you could be a part of

to help you grow in your new walk with Him.

Also, we encourage you to develop a personal relationship with Christ

by reading the Scriptures and to pray to Him often.

Talk to Him as you would talk to a dearest friend.

He desires that closeness and intimacy with you!

"He tends His flock like a shepherd:

He gathers the lambs in His arms

and carries them close to His heart..."

         ~ Isaiah 40:11
